I grew up in Maine and moved to Alaska after finishing graduate school in NYC. I had three careers while living in Alaska, including owning a tea house and gift shop. I sold that business and retired at an early age before moving back to Maine. Once my daughter went away to college, I decided it was time to open another store and create a space full of treasures from Maine and other New England states. We celebrated out 2nd anniversary on Nov. 8, 2019 and reflected on how much fun we've had helping locals and visitors find the perfect gift for themselves and others.
More than 80 percent of our products are from Maine. We sell Sea Bags, made on the waterfront in Portland; Seawicks Candles, made on the waterfront in Boothbay Harbor; and pottery, jewelry, cards, wall art, specialty foods, and dog treats and toys all made in Maine. Two of our featured artists live right here in Saco and two others are from OOB and Scarborough. We love local artists!
We have a few things from the other New England states, including Andy’s Dandy's dog treats from Vermont; Lemon & Line rope bracelets from Rhode Island; and whimsical cutting boards from New Hampshire Bowl and Board in Contoocook.
Our theme is beachy/nautical and we are obsessed with whales and anchors. Visit us anytime you need a special gift for a special someone. We’d love to meet you.
